Families will appreciate this place
The hotel was very lovely. I really loved the little touches I hadn’t seen before like the fresh ground coffee in my room and a first aid kit in the bathroom, just in case. It, you know?
It wasn’t exactly inexpensive, but still acceptable.

It was just a prime choice for a brief stopover in Chester with definitely value for money. Although we couldn't get the bathtub faucet running, everything else was clean and well cared for. Make sure to ask for help if something doesn't work right.

Charming Stay with Room for Improvement
We enjoyed a lovely evening in a cozy queen room with a spa bath. The jetted tub had its quirks, but we appreciated the warm ambiance. A tip for future visitors, inquire about breakfast details upon arrival as we found limited info. Overall, a pleasant getaway!

The owners were accommodating, making it feel like a home away from home with great communal spaces. However, the doorways upstairs were a bit low for taller guests like me. Overall, the stay was enjoyable and the cleanliness was commendable.

The room was spacious and beautifully decorated, with a comfortable bed that ensured a restful night. Unique touches like real fresh ground coffee and earplugs on the nightstand enhanced the experience. The staff were friendly, with the cleaning staff even offering a ride to the train station upon departure, which was greatly appreciated. However, the main street location, while convenient, might not be ideal for those seeking solitude.

charming stay but missed fine details
The colonial ambiance of the inn creates a warm feeling, and the spa bath in the Queen Room added a touch of luxury to my stay. I appreciated the cleanliness and comfort of my room, making it a pleasurable retreat after exploring the charming village green outside.
The overall attention to detail in some areas could be improved.
